This will be a discussion of normal anatomy, including the physiologic alterations that occur with age, and also some benign conditions. I will also focus on the general considerations for these entities, move on to indications for imaging, discuss the interpretations of these imaging findings, and summarize the impact on management and why it is important to diagnose the conditions and how we as radiologists can help our clinical colleagues with the evaluation and treatment of patients.
